After smashing his head and after he was run over by the train, I’m sure someone shot him just to be sure.

@89th said in O hai!! How y'all been?: @LW said in O hai!! How y'all been?: @89th he's just turned 2 1/2. It's very fun, except the meltdowns. Oh perfect, the ages of 3 and 4 are coming up! Yes the meltdowns. Our (boy) is the one with the bigger emotional swings than our girls. This morning he had a bit crying episode because his spiderman shoes were too small and he was sad to see them go. Honestly, I get it, mini 89th. I like my shoes too. Our neighbors have a nearly 3 yo girl and she looks at him with toddler confusion (almost a disdain ) when he has meltdowns. They enjoy playing together but he almost always has a meltdown when it's time to leave.

@Axtremus said in 70% of your diagnosis depends upon your labs.: Compared to other undergraduate STEM degrees around the world, the Americans overemphasize the Humanities. Interesting. In undergrad school - and this was a LONG time ago - non STEM courses I took included one year of a foreign language (required), one year of English literature (required), art history, economics, music history, philosophy, geography and others I don't recall.

Campus protests are bad for Harris. Unless they start lynching college deans, the MSM ain't interested.

On the 4th down pass interference play? TWO Chiefs were holding Bengal defender. No call. https://x.com/_MLFootball/status/1835474110245482975

Nothing bibi does would surprise me but from his point of view, galant remains the only real threat to his coalition. Because of his unwavering stand on the issue of religious conscription. Which could bring down the government. But since we really have to stay up to date, the exploding pagers may have put that plan on hold, time will tell.

If you can, take a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, but start at like 6am if you can. We did that one time with our kid, it was nice before it gets crowded by mid morning. @Mik I miss DC for that reason. I'm glad we took advantage when we could, took our kid to a billion things... or sometimes just walking around the monuments in the morning, or feeding ducks near the constitutional gardens.

TDS is so closely linked to those democrats who like Woke and DEI thinking. Maybe the imminent demise of Woke and DEI thinking will help reduce the existential threat of TDS.
